Survival of the Apes
An investigative 52 minute documentary examining the growing trade in 'Bush Meat' in the rainforests of West Africa. While Western charities mount rescue operations for captured primates, the population at large pays an increasing number of hunters to provide gorilla parts for food. The hunters say they are forced to kill, to compensate for their loss of livelihood due to the activities of Western logging companies.
